Terms of service
Last updated 28 August 2026
These terms apply between Birget AS (org. no. 933 189 775) and the choir that sets up a Kordinert subscription. By creating a choir in the service you accept the terms.
The service
Kordinert is a platform for running a choir: member register, season and production planning, attendance, repertoire with a sheet-music archive and practice tools, communication and dues. The customer is the choir as a legal entity; each member gets a personal user account tied to the choir.
Some features are marked beta or “coming” in the pricing overview. Beta features are provided as-is, and features marked “coming” are not part of the delivery until launched.
Trial and plans
New choirs get a 30-day free trial with all features open, no card required. After the trial the choir must pick a plan. Without one, the choir becomes read-only for 60 days; after that it is deleted, with notice.
Plans differ by member count. We count members with status active, probation or on leave. If the choir is above the limit on a new plan, existing members are kept, but new ones cannot be invited until the count is below the limit.
Payment
The subscription is paid monthly or annually, by card via Stripe. Invoicing is available on the Konsert and Ensemble plans. Upgrades take effect immediately and are pro-rated; downgrades take effect at the end of the period.
Price changes are announced at least one month before they take effect, and apply from the next renewal.
The choir’s data
The choir owns its own data. The choir can export its data at any time, and on termination the data can be retrieved before deletion. Processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy; choirs on the Ensemble plan get a dedicated data processing agreement.
Acceptable use
The service is for running a choir. Do not upload content that is unlawful or infringes the rights of others — including copyright in scores and recordings — and do not attempt to circumvent the service’s access controls. The choir is responsible for having the right to share the material it uploads.
Availability
We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee it on plans without an agreed SLA. Planned maintenance is announced. The Ensemble plan can include a dedicated SLA.
Liability
The service is provided as-is. Birget AS is not liable for indirect losses. Our total liability is limited to what the choir has paid for the service in the preceding twelve months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Norwegian law.
Termination
The choir may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the period. We may close accounts that materially breach the terms, with notice where reasonable. On termination, the export and deletion routines described above apply.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the service at least one month before they take effect. The terms are governed by Norwegian law, with Oslo District Court as the venue.
